Interestingly enough,
this is the first official November snow for us. Our local
weather man tried to tell us that we had an inch of snow
on Saturday, November 8th, but after driving around
aimlessly for about 30 minutes, my darling husband and I
decided that they must be on some pretty interesting
recreational drugs.... or something! So, for the record,
the first, official snow here occurred in the form of a
whirlwind of a storm that was so thick you couldn't see
across the street for about 5 minutes. We went out and got
pictures just after that part (yes it took us that long to
realize that we should take pictures)!!!

My darling husband and I
celebrated our wedding anniversary on the 13th. I got a
dozen of the prettiest deep red roses!
Last, but not least,
here are the pictures I've been promising of our rare
Mexican cactus!!! We had it outside all summer and most of
this fall. We brought it in just before the hard freeze.
